- Detailed list of additions -

Down in June - Covers... Death in June (Nerus)
15 Totenpop re-interpretations of classic Death in June tracks by this new Swedish band, including "Fall Apart", "Little Black Angel", "Fields of Rape", "Rose Clouds of the Holocaust" and many more. More imaginative than all of the copycats put together.
(CD, digisleeve, $17.00)

Somniorum - Anabiosis (Chimaera / Fight Muzik)
One last copy found in our stock. Guitar drone project based in St. Petersburg. Slow-paced and gentle harmonic material that will appeal to those into Aidan Baker, Maeror Tri, Troum and related artists.
(CD, paper sleeve, $16.00, last copy)

Nick Soudnick - Akhe Music Vol. 5 Faust ³ (Ultra)
Produced as the soundtrack for the theatre performance of "Faust ³" by Akhe, this work by Nick Soundnick seems him welding the industrial clamor of Vetrophonia to avant-garde classical music. Actual string and bass instruments are accompanied by metallic percussion and discreet electronic effects for a majestic result with a masterful sense of tension and release, with tracks ranging from high-cadence orchestrations to more restrained and atmospheric passages. Leagues above whatever similar attempts at this exercise have been made in the industrial scene.
(CD, multi-paneled sleeve with extensive booklet in Russian and English, $17.50)

Maurizio Bianchi & Atrax Morgue - M. Plus T. (Silentes)
The last recorded material from Marco Corbelli comes in the shape of this collaboration with Maurizio Bianchi. The two long and life-draining tape loop dirges presented here betray a morbid serenity further emphasized by their faded melodic elements and stop/start editing. While "No More" is a more representative epitaph for Atrax Morgue, this is nevertheless a logical collaboration that has sadly become a final statement.
(CD, clear jewel case, $16.00)

Megaptera - Beyond The Massive Darkness (Cold Meat Industry)
Essential 2CD that brings together both the "Songs from the Massive Darkness" LP and the "Beyond the Shadow" CD with some remixed tracks from "The Curse of the Scarecrow". Mastered by Ulf Soderberg of Sephiroth fame. Released back in 2001 and currently out of print. This is a new and sealed copy.
(2CD, digipak, $20.00, last copy)

November Novelet - Sacred (Galakthorroe)
Label info: "The new 4-track vinyl EP from November Novelet. Deep emotions behind a stoic manner, walking tall in the face of sadness. Frau Arafna's graveyard voice, melancholy melodies and lashing rhythms invite you to dance into oblivion. Plus novelistic synth sound-carpets that carry one to Heaven. An intensive sound experience that will draw you in - many-layered, full of variety, but in spite of this, so modestly minimal." One copy per purchase and available if bought with a Galakthorroe CD.
(7", $16.50)

Hermann Kopp - Under A Demon's Mask (Galakthorroe)
Label info: "Everybody who has seen the Buttgereit films Nekromantik 1+2 and Todesking, has heard of Hermann Kopp. The music he wrote and performed for them is ever-present, pervading the atmosphere and has contributed considerably to the advancement of these films into classics. He still retains to this day his exceptional musical ability, and proves it yet again.
Galakthorroe is proud to be able to present 13 new songs from the nekrodramatist: more than 40 minutes of new material, which today - just as it did then - has as its core his dissonant-tempered and individualistic violin playing. Combined with electronics, a host of weird instruments and metal percussion he creates an unequaled gruesome opus, carried by an effectively conceived minimalism, and the most beautiful and haunting Angst melodies imaginable. So morbid and wonderful in fact, that we have to ask ourselves how we co uld manage to survive for so long without any new material from Hermann Kopp - and which demons were riding him that he had to keep us waiting so long."
(CD, digipak with booklet, $20.00)

Rrupt - Traverser (Egone)
Stunning ethno-industrial from this obscure and sadly overlooked French project. Inspired by Lionel Tran's novel "Traverser du Desert" and involving a number of other artistic contributions such as the calligraphy of Thomas Foucher and the photography of Jean-Marie Arnouil, "Traverser" is a beautifully presented journey across a scorched desert where daytime mirages cede only to the night's icy winds.
(CD, digipak with booklet, $15.00)

Various Artists - A Selection Of Drones Past: Singles 1993-2000 (Tumult)
Compilation of select tracks from Drone Records' 7" vinyls, in a more digital-friendly format. Includes tracks from Maeror Tri, Alio Die, Inade, Aube, Klood, Vance Orchestra, Tarkatak, Toy Bizarre, Yen Pox and more.
(2CD, gatefold sleeve, $20.00)

Troum - Ryna (Transgredient Records)
Re-issue of the 1998 debut album.
(CD, digipak, $17.00)

Troum - AIWS (Transgredient Records)
Label info: "AIWS is the first full length Troum album since many years, covering studio recordings from 2002-2005. Troum selected their favourite pieces from these years to be placed on this album, all analogically recorded on 4- and 8-track machines. Presented here are 9 tracks leading the listener through basic feelings of yearning, melancholy, and transcension. The most emotional and profound Troum album ever. Dedicated to eternity.
The ingredients: Sufi songs and old vinyl crackles, acoustic and e-guitars, e-bow, e-bass, voice and whispering, accordeon & flute."
(CD, 6-panel digipak, $17.00)

Hati - Mantra-I - Prehistory Of HATI: Vol. 1 (Eter)
Early 1997 recordings from this Polish project, this time with a ritual touch added to their percussive / junk metal modus operandi. 6 long pieces of hypnotizing lo-fi loops and drones.
(CD-R, oversized paper sleeve, $11.00)

Hati - Works for Scrap Metal (Eter)
A collection of 9 minimalistic audio exercises achieved using exclusively the sounds of various pieces of discarded metal junk (barrels, springs, chains, steel plates, etc...). The crystalline recording quality strongly emphasizes the timber and tone of each sound source, bringing to mind some of the more subdued A.B.G.S. material.
(CD, thick folded ecopaper sleeve with booklet, $16.00)
