Debut CD release from Arc, the trio of Aidan Baker (guitars, flutes, tape loops), Richard Baker (drum kit, percussion) and Christopher Kukiel (percussion). This results in a combination of the more melodic Aidan Baker pieces with layers of varied percussive instruments, giving the sound a rhythmical and live quality that works consistently with the ambient drones. Pleasant and soothing stuff.

Hypnotic and soothing like the sea which sets the theme here ("When Sailors Die", "Davy Jones' Locker").
