Onirot - Augusta Taurinorum (Inner Gravity)

There's very little information on this one, so a brief summary will have to do. What you'll find here is a combination of cinematic (as in trailer-style sped-up sound effects) dark ambient and horror movie synth soundtrack. Despite minor production limitations (not everyone can be an instant Lustmord when doing sound design), there's a definite "demon in the cellar" B-movie charm to this. Pick it up and find out.

Onirot - Deus Ex Machina (Inner Gravity)

Final part of the Onirot trilogy. This time round the production is crystal-clear and the sound incorporates distant mechanical rumblings, footsteps and mangled drones into the mix. It seems the dank cellars have been left for desolate industrial fields, and the result definitely warrants praise. Well done!

Chu Ishikawa - Tetsuo The Iron Man (Japan Overseas)

This CD contains the soundtracks to both of Shinya Tsukamoto's "Tetsuo The Iron Man" and "Tetsuo II: Body Hammer". Composed and performed by Chu Ishikawa (also active as a percussionist in Der Eisenrost), these scores combine various forms of metal percussion and soaring synthesizer lines suitable for rusting the world away.

Der Eisenrost - Armored Weapon (Japan Overseas)

Der Eisenrost is Chu Ishikawa's metal percussion unit, and evolves in the same universe as the Tetsuo soundtrack which he crafted: loud metallic rhythms, frantic synth lines and a sense of virulent energy. This first album gathers edited tracks from live performances between 1993 and 1994.

Reutoff - ReuTRauM II (Kaos Kontrol)

Part 5 of 7 in a series of releases dedicated to the band's hometown of Reutov. Pounding machine noises, loud choirs and alarm sounds form the basis of the first piece, while the second one cools thing down with pulsating drones and loops.

Chöd - Kala-Nath (Kokeshidisk)

Label info: "Chöd was a one-man project from France between dark ambient and ritual music, mixing gregorian chants, heavy percussions, ritual flutes, dark and frightening atmospheres... Megaptera, Deutsch Nepal, Zero Kama or Lashtal could be quoted as references/influences...
This was the eighth release of our previous label, Harmonie. It was released as a tape in october 1996. Chöd also released another tape, a 7" on Athanor and contributed to various compilations ("40 Wings" on Ant-Zen or "Lucifer Rising" on Athanor to name a few). A CD-release was planned, still on Athanor, but sadly it's never been issued and it will probably never be.
To console yourself, here is finally its first tape (sold out for years) reissued. Digitally transferred from the original DAT, this cd-r edition includes one unreleased track omitted from the tape-edition due to time restriction. A totally new artwork was also created by Cyril Herry."

Sechres Mound - D2 740m440 (Kokeshidisk)

Label info: "Sechres Mound was a collaboration between Cédric Peyronnet (Toy Bizarre) and Cyril Herry (Lecanora, Ninth desert, Exotoendo founder member) which began in February 1995 following the discovery of an unused & monumental tanks unit. Each "D2 740m440" piece was improvised and recorded live on site without any external contribution or sound treatments.
The aim was to exploit the sound potential of the place by using materials mainly found on the site and installations built inside one and only tank (no. D2 740m440). Sometimes new materials were brought in (PVC pipes, string, metal bar...) to try out the unique reverberation of this space. After a few weeks, the tank became a true research laboratory, full of various objects (ron and wood pieces, cables and nails). The purpose was to reveal the authentic sound identity of this place."

Désaccord Majeur - La Couleur Odorante (Kokeshidisk)

Label info: "Reissue of the tape released in 1998 on our previous label Harmonie, "la couleur odorante" gathers eight tracks previously released on various international compilations from 1990 to 1995, showing the evolution of Désaccord Majeur music & sounds with more and more ethnic influences while keeping a melodic and evolutive structure.
This reissue includes two previously unreleased tracks from 1989 (one of the first Désaccord Majeur tracks, very ambient) and 1993 (more in the ethno-ambient sounds he's known for)."

Troum - Dreaming Muzak (Kokeshidisk)

Label info: ""dreaming muzak" was the first (and last) troum cassette-release and came out on the belgian label cling-film in october 1998 in an edition of 100 copies in a handmade pillow-cover. It belongs with "ryna" (the first cd) and the "daur" 10'' vinyl to the first band-releases. both tracks on "dreaming muzak" were recorded in 1997 on analogue 4-track and are based on recycled material. "dreaming muzak part 1” had to be re-mastered from the original tapes, so it could differ a little from the original version.

(printed CD-R, full color printed A5-sized cardboard cover, , out of stock)
