Wilt - When Spiders Learn To Fly (By Blade Records)
Along with "Blackenvelope", this is one of Wilt's finest efforts so far and evokes the serenity of a chemically-induced coma. In James Keeler's own words: "8 tracks of depressed analog torture and smoldering smokestacks of filthy black clouds, live improvised, composed, scarecrow dark noise".
(CD-R, oversized cardboard sleeve, out of stock)
Bardoseneticcube - Blood of Green Colour (By Blade Records)
New 2005 release from this veteran St Petersburg dark ambient project. 8 untitled tracks of rumbling drones, soaring oscillations and corroded melodic patterns. Limited to 150 copies.
(CD-R, oversized cardboard sleeve, out of stock)
Bardoseneticcube - Naegleria Fowlery (By Blade Records)
New 2007 album from Bardoseneticcube, and it's just as varied and eclectic as Igor Potsukailo's most recent releases. Uneasy sinewaves, deep synth pads, technoïd rhythms and what sounds like a crackling Geiger counter are some of the prominent sounds here, and while some of it could be seen as a continuation of "Deadhead", other tracks develop a particularly dense and electrically-charged atmosphere that is both new and familiar to the attentive listener.
(CD, oversized printed sleeve, out of stock)
Horologium - Le Cartoline Perse (By Blade Records)
A collection of some rare and unreleased tracks by this Polish project. Most of it is mid-paced loop-based material with an occasional orchestral touch, some of it mixes it up with more pronounced rhythms (is that beat lifted from a George Harrison song?). On a side-note, neither the random postcards on the cover nor the tracks evoke anything remotely Persian, so you'll have to figure that out on your own.
(CD, oversized printed sleeve, $16.50, last copy)

Sutcliffe Jügend - Pigdaddy (Cold Spring)
Label info: "The Sutcliffe Jügend filthy dirt-mess of an album that is Pigdaddy is now available on Cold Spring. Six stories of mind-fucking depravity. Pigdaddy contains some of the most fucked up, histrionic and downright bizarre vocals ever recorded. The music is created using the most basic sound sources. The overwhelming sense of moral decay makes this Sutcliffe Jügend's most original album yet. Pigdaddy is Beyond Perverse. Sexual transgression never sounded so dirty. Hear Pigdaddy and you will never feel clean again. Cover painting by Kevin Tomkins."

Sleep Research Facility - Nostromo (Cold Spring)
An audio exploration of the Nostromo, the imposing spaceship of Ridley Scott's "Alien". Minimal black ambient with technological overtones. This re-release has the original four tracks along with with a new piece named after the Narcissus, the escape shuttle in which the finale takes place.
(CD, clear jewel case, $16.00, last copy)

John Watermann - Calcutta Gas Chamber (Cold Spring)
Label info: "The concept of aurally conveying the horror of a gas chamber was realised through field recordings in an abandoned electrical power station in Brisbane in 1992. The sounds are grating and harsh, a mixture of field recordings and electronic manipulations. One can rarely pinpoint a location or action but the images and sounds conjure up all sorts of nefarious activities related to death by machinery. The sleeve notes take you into the horror that is the Calcutta Gas Chamber. [...]"
