Subliminal - Gracebudd (Galakthorrö)
Ridiculously overlooked project that perfectly matches the label's roster while adding its own distinct characteristics to it. Gracebudd is the sound of muffled cries, gasps for air, tape hiss and distant screams modulated by undulating low-end pulses. The result has a deranged autistic appeal to it.

Karl Runau - Beyond Frequencies (Galakthorrö)
In the Galakthorrö family, Karl Runau could fit the role of the silent professor with a compulsive obsession for minimal analog electro. This album was recorded between 1994 - 1998, and tracks vary from punchy beatbox pieces to brooding synth noodlings, all with that certain Galakthorrö touch.

November Növelet - Magic (Galakthorrö)
Label info: "This magically-charged jewel of electronic music consists of twelve new songs. The analogue foundation combines with electric vibraphone and 8-bit surrealism transformed into sound. Melancholic synthesizer melodies and the ethereal voice of Mrs. Arafna melt into a fragile beauty with emotional depth. Unpretentious and lost, a gripping experience.
In spite of all this exploration of the depths, there is also the opportunity to roll up the carpet. Mr. and Mrs. Arafna have conjured up a few dance hits, which because of their minimalism and cultured morbid charm, should kick off the party mood for the creatures of the night. These contrast well with the slow pieces – tinged with a breath of experimentation, resulting in a many-faceted, and at the same time very balanced, Angst Pop album. The long time in waiting for the release of this new record will soon be forgotten in sheer listening pleasure."

Haus Arafna - Blut (Galakthorrö)
Label info: "Beloved for its rugged charm and its extraordinary harshness, the first Haus Arafna album has been an industrial classic for some considerable time. Since 1995 the original limited edition could only be obtained at horrendous collectors' prices, and ran the risk like many other Galakthorrö presentations of falling foul of the Bootleggers (Help! The Russians are coming!) and now in 2006 it has finally been re-issued, digitally re-mastered with three brilliant extra bonus tracks. The new edition is rounded off visually by a 24 page booklet containing numerous black and white photoplates illustrating the bloody subject matter."

Subliminal - Coping (Galakthorrö)
Second full-length album from Albert Fisch and just as cryptically spiteful as the first one, if not more. The label's signature analog electronics compact Subliminal's machine noise and aggressive vocals into a stark and focused charge of pure hatred, the sort not heard of on Galakthorrö since Blut. Beautifully ugly.

Hermann Kopp - Under A Demon's Mask (Galakthorrö)
Label info: "Everybody who has seen the Buttgereit films Nekromantik 1+2 and Todesking, has heard of Hermann Kopp. The music he wrote and performed for them is ever-present, pervading the atmosphere and has contributed considerably to the advancement of these films into classics. He still retains to this day his exceptional musical ability, and proves it yet again.
Galakthorrö is proud to be able to present 13 new songs from the nekrodramatist: more than 40 minutes of new material, which today – just as it did then – has as its core his dissonant-tempered and individualistic violin playing. Combined with electronics, a host of weird instruments and metal percussion he creates an unequaled gruesome opus, carried by an effectively conceived minimalism, and the most beautiful and haunting Angst melodies imaginable. So morbid and wonderful in fact, that we have to ask ourselves how we could manage to survive for so long without any new material from Hermann Kopp – and which demons were riding him that he had to keep us waiting so long."

Herz Jühning - Miasma (Galakthorrö)
First full-length album from this newcomer to the Galakthorrö family, whose Faces 7" the luckier ones of you may have had a chance to hear. True to the label's tradition, Herz Jühning delivers a compact dose of stylized dread that navigates somewhere between November Növelet's pulsating angst-pop ("Reopened Eyes") and Subliminal's dreary analog power electronics ("The Rape", "Infibulation"). No surprises, no gimmicks, just 13 solid tracks of torpor and contempt.

Haus Arafna - You (Galakthorrö)
Seven long years after "Butterfly" Haus Arafna return with another finely crafted piece of angst-pop. Possibly their most elaborate album so far, "You" takes a syncretic approach to the post-industrial styles that have manifested themselves in their work, adding steel-sourced metallic noises and klangs to the sound and integrating influences from the duo's twin project November Növelet. A monument of intimately miserable and misanthropic Arafna Cultura.
