Various Artists - Thalamus II (KultFront)
Compilation dedicated to the 2nd edition of the Thalamus festival, held in Pskov in May 2005. The CD features two exclusive tracks from each of the projects which performed there, namely the following: Cisfinitum, EKRAN (a Kryptogen Rundfunk / Anthesteria collaboration), Shumy Rossii (Noises of Russia), Lunar Abyss Deus Organum and Majdanek Waltz.

Panicsville - Perverse (Liquid Death / Hello Pussy)
Released in 2004, "Perverse" is another stroll into the happily deranged world of Panicsville. It's a somewhat noisier affair than its direct parent "Sterile", but it does keep the latter's taste for twisted sonic collages, diseased atmospheres and pulsating electronic howls. this is like dumpster-diving into surreal nightmares, and what you'll scrounge up will leave you with a black-toothed grin.

Internal Fusion - Tribute To Hastia (Lucioléditions)
With a sparse discography on Désaccord Majeur, Staalplaat and various Taalem-related labels, Internal Fusion has become mostly known for its sound somewhere between Rapoon and Muslimgauze, with various sorts of percussions providing a rhythmical backdrop to most of its work. This new release however definitely moves away from that area and towards minimalist dark ambient, with deep low-end pulses and restrained drones becoming the main driving force for the 6 long tracks gathered here. That said, they're composed with enough imagination and grace so as to remain worthy of attention and not an exercise in reverb-drenched nothingness. Quality stuff.
