Sshe Retina Stimulants - Ketsueki No Eiga (Self Abuse)

Brain-frying frequencies manipulated with savage precision by Paolo Bandera, also known for his works as Sigillum S. Where others merely content themselves with always-in-the-red walls of noise, Sshe Retina Stimulants have mastered the capacity of building tension and delivering the way it matters.

Lustmord vs. Metal Beast - Lustmord vs. Metal Beast (Side Effects)

Label info: "Derived from a joint performance by Lustmord and Metal Beast broadcast live on KUCI 89.9, Orange County, California, June 20 1997. The broadcast was put together at short notice with very little preparation, and as a result is mostly improvised, and intentionally chaotic. Manipulated further and reconstructed for this release."

Opium - Sympathetic Flying Objects (Silentes)

Opium is active in the ambient field with various projects and collaborations with Alio Die, Francesco Paladino and Antonio Testa, and Silentes presents here his debut release under this moniker. The six tracks of this album rely mostly on soothing synth washes enriched with discreet field recordings and various noises, occasionally layering some rhythmical elements into the background. While there's inevitably some level of déjà-vu, the overall quality of the recording warrants it attention from ambient listeners.

Alio Die - Suspended Feathers (Silentes)

Label info: "Silentes presents another great reissue. Suspended Feathers is one of the best well-known works by Alio Die, published originally in 1996 in a limited edition of 1000 copies in a special package by AQUA/AMPLEXUS and sold out for years. [...] The 5 tracks include one long track originally composed for the "mythical" Amplexus series, one track composed together with Gregorio Bardini nd one track composed with Vidna Obmana. After 10 years this album [still] sounds fresh and it's a real ambient masterpiece."

Nimh - Subterranean Thoughts (Silentes)

Label info: "About one year after the release of "The Impossible Days", Nimh (Giuseppe Verticchio) explores the innermost paths of electronic experimentation again with his new "Subterranean Thoughts". The album showcases a kaleidoscope of many different sounds, from the lysergic visions of "Rewind" to the cinematic suggestions of "Recovered Memories", from the tight and dark atmospheres of "Back to Laudomia" to the ritual elements of "Perpetual Cycles", from the rhythmic distortions of "Subterranean Thoughts" to the hypnotic stasis of "The Liquid Dream" and the lyrism of the title-track reprise at the end of the disc."

Maurizio Bianchi - The Testamentary Corridor (Silentes)

Label info: "Insubordinate discord in five tempos for monolithic keyboards and multicellular dissonances, perpetrated during the autumn of 2005. Dedicated to the lamented martyrs.
To commemorate a testamentary event the human beings expend time and care, all theirs energies, but sometimes the results are disappointing... Due to the inconvenient heritage of our rhetorical history lost in the corridor of time. (M. B. 2005)"

Nimh & Maurizio Bianchi - Secluded Truths (Silentes)

Label info: "Obscure atmospheres and industrial influences in this second audible amalgam between M.B. (Maurizio Bianchi) and NIMH (Giuseppe Verticchio). Endocrine insulation for diagnostic firabilities."

Maurizio Bianchi - A M.B. Ienh Tale (Small Voices)

Label info: "The brand new release of Maurizio Bianchi. Similar to his early experimental bionic-industrial masterpiece like "The Plain Truth", "Armaghedon", "Endometrio" and "Carcinosi", this album presents eight decomposed tracks with slow, obscure and meditative music... Cold atmospheres and reverberating piano... [...]"
