Thermidor - 1929 (Brume Records / Thisco)

Dead Man's Hill - Lakes Of Sacrifice (Bugs Crawling out of People)
Fifth release (and first pressed CD) from Dead Man's Hill. Bombastic orchestral industrial strongly inspired by early In Slaughter Natives, but with a somewhat more electronic flavor. Features the collaborative track "Sacrifice of Subscription" with spoken word artist it-clings and a remix of "Legions of Coldness" by Fractured.
(CD, clear jewel case, $13.00, last copy)

It-Clings vs. Pneumatic Detach - The All Too Logical Descent Into Madness (Bugs Crawling out of People)
Spoken words by It-Clings with pounding beats provided by Pneumatich Detach (Hive Records). Not exactly the "hearing faint voices inside your head" kind either, this is more like inviting a spiteful cynic with a megaphone to rant away to his heart's content from the comfort of inside your cranium. From lucid observations to over-the-top diatribes, there's thankfully enough black humor in here to keep it from turning into a neurotic moan fest. You'll also find out more about a new creative use for a spoon.

Various Artists - Noise Research Program (Burning Emptiness)
Including a vast amount of tracks from an even wider variety of genres, the NRP disc nevertheless pulls off the minor miracle of compiling these contributions into a coherent collection of fine tunes. Participants include Ultra Milkmaids, Narc, Tin.RP, Winterbrief, Kazumoto Endo and Tetsuya Miyazaki, Transistor 6 and more. A complete tracklist can be found on the Tin.RP site.

Bardoseneticcube - Naegleria Fowlery (By Blade Records)
New 2007 album from Bardoseneticcube, and it's just as varied and eclectic as Igor Potsukailo's most recent releases. Uneasy sinewaves, deep synth pads, technoïd rhythms and what sounds like a crackling Geiger counter are some of the prominent sounds here, and while some of it could be seen as a continuation of "Deadhead", other tracks develop a particularly dense and electrically-charged atmosphere that is both new and familiar to the attentive listener.
(CD, oversized printed sleeve, out of stock)
Horologium - Le Cartoline Perse (By Blade Records)
A collection of some rare and unreleased tracks by this Polish project. Most of it is mid-paced loop-based material with an occasional orchestral touch, some of it mixes it up with more pronounced rhythms (is that beat lifted from a George Harrison song?). On a side-note, neither the random postcards on the cover nor the tracks evoke anything remotely Persian, so you'll have to figure that out on your own.

Raison d'Etre - Requiem for Abandoned Souls (Cold Meat Industry)
Latest release from one of the key projects brought to us by the Swedish slaughterhouse. Magnificent and lush ambient that follows up perfectly where "The Empty Hollow Unfolds" left off. Mandatory listening.
(CD in clear jewel case, out of stock)

Sophia - Spite (Cold Meat Industry)
Most likely the finest release by Arcana's apocalyptic twin brother. Bombastic industrial with solemn vocals that recall In Slaughter Natives' strongest moments.
(CD in jewel case w/ slipcase, out of stock)
