Sechres Mound - D2 740m440 (Kokeshidisk)

Label info: "Sechres Mound was a collaboration between Cédric Peyronnet (Toy Bizarre) and Cyril Herry (Lecanora, Ninth desert, Exotoendo founder member) which began in February 1995 following the discovery of an unused & monumental tanks unit. Each "D2 740m440" piece was improvised and recorded live on site without any external contribution or sound treatments.
The aim was to exploit the sound potential of the place by using materials mainly found on the site and installations built inside one and only tank (no. D2 740m440). Sometimes new materials were brought in (PVC pipes, string, metal bar...) to try out the unique reverberation of this space. After a few weeks, the tank became a true research laboratory, full of various objects (ron and wood pieces, cables and nails). The purpose was to reveal the authentic sound identity of this place."

(printed CD-R, full color printed A5-sized carboard cover, 11.00 €)

Shumy Rossii - Nevidimost (BioSonar)

Label info: "Shumy Rossii (aka Les Bruits Russes) is a unique project on Russian post-industrial scene. To create their music they don't use any instruments except for voices of their vocalists. The main method of sound-expressing is perfectly executed collage technique. This CD contains the recording of live show, being held in the city of Obninsk in April 2003."

Sister Loolomie / Polaris - Out of Space (Abgurd)

Sister Loolomie presents one long track of droning ambient built around digitally-filtered guitars melodies (think a lo-fi Bad Sector duking it out with Moon), while Sudan Strain side-project Polaris goes for the soothing sounds of a low-frequency black hole absorbing solar winds.

(3" spray-painted CD-R in hand-made sleeve, 7.00 €)

Stelladrine - Le Rire des Etoiles [mn015] (Mechanoise Labs)

Somewhere between the clouds of minimal bleeps and screeches and the constellations of sonic constructions with various sources (acoustic guitars, forks, bottles...) lurks "Le Rire des Etoiles".

(CD-R in cardboard A5 sleeve, 100 copies, 9.00 €)

Subhuman - Untitled II (Abgurd)

Label info: "Here comes the second untitled work of SUBHUMAN. Desolate and anguished symphony of aftermath. Distant drones and whizzes, melancholic piano melodies, strict drum-rolls and speeches. This minialbum can be used as a soundtrack for some documentary about ruined WWII cities. Best to be described as a mix of VON THRONSTAHL and the softest works of TOROIDH. Though, sans politics, sans "blood and soil" again..."

Tarkatak - Eschgl Hel (Taalem)

Label info: "After many cd-r's (on various labels like Blade Records, Prion or Staalaplaat's sublabel Bake Records), even tapes in his first days and some 7"s (including one on Drone Records), Tarkatak offers with this 22min track a perfect example of his beautiful sound: droney dark ambient, slowly evolving with low rumblings, natural sounds & many details in the background... His past works have often been compared to some Zoviet France works or Andrew Chalk; we couldn't agree more."

(3" printed CD-R, 5.50 €, last copy)

The Urge Within - Rage (Stridulum)

Bubbling synthesizer noise done with minimal means by Jonathan Canady (Deathpile/Angel of Decay) in 1997, originally issued on tape. Old-school material with a similar tone to some Maurizio Bianchi tracks.

Thirdorgan - Lalahmania (Alienation)

Harsh noise from Japan's Thirdorgan. Although the titles seem to be inspired by pulp sci-fi movies ("The Incredible Melting Man"), this is unmoderated cut-up noise à la Government Alpha but with a more digital flavoring.

(CD-R, paper sleeve, 7.00 €)
