Sadogipnoz - Old Structures - Mythological Reason (8th Moon Art)

Side project of Lunar Abyss Quartet members, released on the now defunct 8th Moon Art label. Ritualistic industrial with collages of looped instruments and found sounds. From murky underwater sonic explorations to drunken operatic dirges.

(CD-R, hand-made green cardboard sleeve, out of stock)

YAO 91404 D - Key to Abyss (Abgurd)

Collage tracks made from chunks of soviet radio speeches, period music and looping factory noises. Based on a book by Ilya Masodov. Old-school constructivist industrial that should appeal to those into Linija Mass, Vivenza and related projects.

(CD-R, DVD case with full-color artwork and insert, out of stock)

Sister Loolomie / Polaris - Out of Space (Abgurd)

Sister Loolomie presents one long track of droning ambient built around digitally-filtered guitars melodies (think a lo-fi Bad Sector duking it out with Moon), while Sudan Strain side-project Polaris goes for the soothing sounds of a low-frequency black hole absorbing solar winds.

(3" spray-painted CD-R in hand-made sleeve, 7.00 €)

YAO 91404 D - Heroes of The Coal Age (Abgurd)

Label info: "Muzak for coal mine workers, inspired by the life of people in post-WWII USSR. Music created with steamhammers, milling cutters, perforators & melted with retro-songs."

(printed CD-R, DVD case with insert, out of stock)

Neuntoter Der Plage - Doors Beyond Doors (Abgurd)

Label info: "NDP is an another project stillborn by Ryan Oppermann. Here he takes a direction towards morbid and twisted Ritual Death Ambient. Dark hypnotic atmospheres, autoharp, droning vocals, backwards samples, chains, electronic drones, violin, hand bells, sleigh bells, etc. This project is devoted to the author's psychedelic experiences - according to the sounds put here, that experience was really horrifying. Open those doors for yourself."

(CD-R, oversized sleeve, out of stock)

Subhuman - Untitled II (Abgurd)

Label info: "Here comes the second untitled work of SUBHUMAN. Desolate and anguished symphony of aftermath. Distant drones and whizzes, melancholic piano melodies, strict drum-rolls and speeches. This minialbum can be used as a soundtrack for some documentary about ruined WWII cities. Best to be described as a mix of VON THRONSTAHL and the softest works of TOROIDH. Though, sans politics, sans "blood and soil" again..."

(3" CD-R, oversized color sleeve, 7.00 €)

Recant - Subject to Affliction (Alarming Echo Beats)

Following his first full-length release on Fleshmadeword Records, Recant comes back with this EP in a different vein alltogether. Gone are the cut-up rhythmical scrapings of "Gesture", here replaced by solid blocks of black ambiant noise and junkyard atmospheres.

(CD-R in slim case, 5.00 €)

Thirdorgan - Lalahmania (Alienation)

Harsh noise from Japan's Thirdorgan. Although the titles seem to be inspired by pulp sci-fi movies ("The Incredible Melting Man"), this is unmoderated cut-up noise à la Government Alpha but with a more digital flavoring.

(CD-R, paper sleeve, 7.00 €)

Bardoseneticcube - Live19082000 (Aquarellist)

Live recording of a Bardoseneticcube performance in the Spartak Church during the "Free Flight" festival. Two sample-heavy ambiant pieces that fade from gentle breezy electronic passages to looping mechanical noises and back again.

(CD-R, pro-printed, 3-panel digipack, out of stock)

Nero's Day At Disneyland - Attention Shoppers (Audio Savant)

A rollercoaster ride of manic beats, hysterical vocals and mastered lunacy. Catchy as hell and bound to be repeatedly listened to if you think Dan Deacon slugging it out with Hearts of Darknesses while the Mile 329 gang cheers them on sounds like a great idea. Somebody get this guy to put out more music NOW, or I'll have to do it myself.

(pro-printed CD-R inside a 5-1/4" floppy disk, out of stock)
