Encomiast - Havens (Crucial Bliss)
Label info: "This disc contains three exquisite new driftworks from ENCOMIAST, entitled Havens. Formed from vaporous clouds of guitar, gamelan, shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), violin, vina, voice, flute, and field recordings, Ross Hagen and Megan Garland have stretched these sounds into infinite ribbons of metallic shimmer, twisting and swirling into gorgeous hum. The three tracks on this disc are extended works that range from eleven to twenty-five minutes in length, and drifts within the angelic regions between Andrew Chalk's minimalist explorations, the dream music of Troum (and their predecessor, Maeror Tri), and the bleary melodic smear of My Bloody Valentine. Havens distills the bliss of deep dreams and early morning haze into captured hymns, and is one of ENCOMIAST's finest drone offerings to date."

Frank Rothkamm - Moers Works (1982 - 1984) (Monochrome Vision)
Old-school industrial experimentations recorded between 1982 and 1984 by Frank Rothkamm, a professionally trained musician who used to release his material on his own Flux Records label.

Gate To Gate - I Turn Black Keys (PACrec)
Label info: "Confused like a two-headed snake trying to bite its own non-existant tail, Gate to Gate churn through gross tones, bass shudder and worst of all - vocals - with exactly the maladroit precision you'd expect from such a beast. This release presents one new 38 minute mess of blackened clatter and clunk, as well as collects their two extremely limited cassettes BANE and HOUSE WITH THE CLOCK IN ITS WALLS in remastered form. Heavy-handed and heavy-footed industrial noise by all accounts. from the blackened minds of Greh (Hive Mind, Chondritic Sound) and Mike Connelly (Hair Police, Wolf Eyes, Gods of Tundra). nearly 80 minutes of satanic black sludge."
(CD, cardboard sleeve, 5.00 €, last copy)
