It-Clings vs. Pneumatic Detach - The All Too Logical Descent Into Madness (Bugs Crawling out of People)
Spoken words by It-Clings with pounding beats provided by Pneumatich Detach (Hive Records). Not exactly the "hearing faint voices inside your head" kind either, this is more like inviting a spiteful cynic with a megaphone to rant away to his heart's content from the comfort of inside your cranium. From lucid observations to over-the-top diatribes, there's thankfully enough black humor in here to keep it from turning into a neurotic moan fest. You'll also find out more about a new creative use for a spoon.

Knurl - Scyamine (PACrec)
Label info: "Since 1994, Alan Bloor (Knurl) has obsessively explored the sound of distorted amplified metal. On Scyamine, he creates a scrapyard inferno of roaring feedback and blown speakers, live and raw, produced from found stainless steel.
Relentlessly rushing forward, constantly moving through a maze of grinding scrapes and crashes, Knurl reaffirms his position as the Canadian king of harsh noise."
(CD, cardboard sleeve, out of stock)
Le Vieux Thorax / Giscard le Survivant - self-titled (Ragondins Mondains)
Split release featuring 6 tracks from each project. Surf punk, TV jingles from the 70's, psychedelic electronics, cut-ups and collages are some of the ingredients in this genre-defying sampling fest. Think Mr Bungle meets Nurse With Wound in a bistro, and you're halfway there.

Legion - Zodiac (Auf Abwegen)
Label info: "New release by the master of dark ambient, Andrew Lagowski. He has worked with Lustmord, Isolrubin BK and Terror Against Terror in the past and his other projects include S.E.T.I. and Lagowski. Zodiac is a study into the depths of human misery - haunting and fearsome."
(CD, clear jewel case, out of stock)

Lietterschpich - I Cum Blood In The Think Tank (Topheth Prophet)
Label info: "The eight-piece group of Lietterschpich (Hebrew for liter of cum) has been boiling down foul language, obscene noise, primitive rituals and perplexing visual propaganda to their core since 2004. Comprised of local veterans of the Israeli post-punk, industrial and electronica scenes, they quickly gained cult status in the Israeli underground. They've released "Quasi" A 3" black cdr in 2005, before calling it a night and taking a year break. They will be back soon to antagonize the cultivated majority that got away last time."

Label info: "Various subterranean location recordings made from 1983-84, with additional studio manipulation and enhancement with John Murphy (The Associates, SPK etc.). The LP issue in 1984 was the last Lustmord vinyl release until 1996's Strange Attractor.
The concepts and recording methods utilized for Paradise Disowned were further refined for the recording of Heresy."
