Miguel A. Ruiz - Grosor (Monochrome Vision)
Label info: "This is the new, remastered version of classic material recorded back in 80s, next to postindustrial aesthetics priority in electronic music. Rigorous and austere, ascetic but dynamic, this music rearranges everyday being into mindchallenging imagination, reserving the leading parts for the habitual processes and domestic objects.
From the deep underground of Spanish industrial music, it comes to be rediscovered after 15 years."

Moljebka Pulse - Sadalsuud (Some Place Else)
Label info: "Mathias Josefson is a sound-artist from Stockholm, Sweden, and currently attending the royal university college of fine arts. His main project is Moljebka Pvlse, which is an experimental music group that works with both electronic and acoustic instruments, as well as with field recordings and found sounds. What comes out is hypnotic and meditative soundscapes.[...]
The name Sadalsuud refers to a star of the same name in the constellation of Aquarius. The name comes from an Arabic phrase meaning "the luckiest of them all". Nevertheless the album is rather earthy-sounding, yet mystical and surreal, almost claustrophobic at times. The sound is vaguely reminiscent of some works by Nurse With Wound, Maeror Tri or The Hafler Trio, but carries the trademark Moljebka Pvlse feel. [...]"

Murderous Vision / Kuru - Blood-Brain Barrier (Somnambulant Records)
Label info: "A split effort by Murderous Vision and Kuru. Murderous Vision presents a homicidal narrative through the medium of death-industrial, placing the listener at a barren locale on the fringe of the city, in the playground of a killer amid society's refuse. The Kuru side of the split tells of a similar compulsion but changes the setting to that of a primordial wilderness where instinct supersedes logic."

Nimh - Subterranean Thoughts (Silentes)
Label info: "About one year after the release of "The Impossible Days", Nimh (Giuseppe Verticchio) explores the innermost paths of electronic experimentation again with his new "Subterranean Thoughts". The album showcases a kaleidoscope of many different sounds, from the lysergic visions of "Rewind" to the cinematic suggestions of "Recovered Memories", from the tight and dark atmospheres of "Back to Laudomia" to the ritual elements of "Perpetual Cycles", from the rhythmic distortions of "Subterranean Thoughts" to the hypnotic stasis of "The Liquid Dream" and the lyrism of the title-track reprise at the end of the disc."

Nimh & Maurizio Bianchi - Secluded Truths (Silentes)
Label info: "Obscure atmospheres and industrial influences in this second audible amalgam between M.B. (Maurizio Bianchi) and NIMH (Giuseppe Verticchio). Endocrine insulation for diagnostic firabilities."

Opium - Sympathetic Flying Objects (Silentes)
Opium is active in the ambient field with various projects and collaborations with Alio Die, Francesco Paladino and Antonio Testa, and Silentes presents here his debut release under this moniker. The six tracks of this album rely mostly on soothing synth washes enriched with discreet field recordings and various noises, occasionally layering some rhythmical elements into the background. While there's inevitably some level of déjà-vu, the overall quality of the recording warrants it attention from ambient listeners.

Ovro - Gegendurchgangenzeit (Some Place Else)
Label info: "An exercise on aural pathworking. Cinematic isolationist dark-ambient soundscapes, very evocative... you are taken through rainy seas, soaked, shipwrecked, underwater, underground... and what sights you see, what beings you meet on the way is left for your subconscious to reveal. Deep listening for small hours. Sit back, relax and let your mind go."
(CD, clear jewel case, 10.00 €)

Pine Tree State Mind Control - Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy (Voidstar)
Monotone down-pitched loops and fuzzy blasts of noise are the weapons of choice in this 55-minute attempt at brainwashing courtesy of PTS Motivation Concepts. While a few tracks gradually slip into semi-voluntary stagnation, there are enough high points to warrant a peek at these gentlemen's informational brochure.
(CD, clear jewel case, 5.00 €)

Recant - Subject to Affliction (Alarming Echo Beats)
Following his first full-length release on Fleshmadeword Records, Recant comes back with this EP in a different vein alltogether. Gone are the cut-up rhythmical scrapings of "Gesture", here replaced by solid blocks of black ambiant noise and junkyard atmospheres.
(CD-R in slim case, 5.00 €)

Show of Exaggeration - Self-titled (Rectrix)
"A cosmic ambient passageway through aeons of spacetime. Ebbing tides of sonic conundrum, fading and waning military and ritual rhythms to convey a feeling of loss and eerie calm. A Synapscape/Centrozoon collaboration."
