Hum - Ether Rider (Drone Records)
New project from Russia that provides a thick, soaring piece of analogue synth noise on one side, and a looping mechanical track with a similar build-up on the other.

Lunar Abyss Deus Organum - Brusnika (Drone Records)
Shamanistic ethno-ambient from the ever prolific Evgueny Savenko, responsible for the various incarnations of the Lunar Abyss projects, Ritualnaya Bioingeneria, and the BioSonar label. The two tracks here gather the sound of crackling fire, warm bass drones and distant animal cries for a particularly organic type of ambient. Pick up their CD on Chimaera while you're at it.

Herz Jühning - Faces (Galakthorrö)
Label info: "Herz Jühning is a new Galakthorrö artist. He presents driving, straight ahead electronics predominately in an Angst Pop style. His tightly constructed arrangements consist of a combination of darkness, the required sadness, plus finally the aggression that fires off in the title track. All four songs will get directly under your skin and start your pulse racing!
From every standpoint a very respectable debut and we wait in suspense for the next episode."
(7", out of stock)

November Növelet - Sacred (Galakthorrö)
Label info: "The new 4-track vinyl EP from November Növelet. Deep emotions behind a stoic manner, walking tall in the face of sadness. Frau Arafna's graveyard voice, melancholy melodies and lashing rhythms invite you to dance into oblivion. Plus növelistic synth sound-carpets that carry one to Heaven. An intensive sound experience that will draw you in – many-layered, full of variety, but in spite of this, so modestly minimal." One copy per purchase and available if bought with a Galakthorrö CD.

Reutoff - ReuTRauM II (Kaos Kontrol)
Part 5 of 7 in a series of releases dedicated to the band's hometown of Reutov. Pounding machine noises, loud choirs and alarm sounds form the basis of the first piece, while the second one cools thing down with pulsating drones and loops.
(7", transparent green vinyl, $10.00)

Lockweld - 8 Cuts (NCC Records)
Label info: "industrial noise fueled by low end overdriven rumbles, destroyed vocals and screeching distorted power tools. 8 cuts of unrelenting audio terror from one of the harshest industrial / noise acts in America."
(12" vinyl shaped like a saw blade, $12.00)

Ait! / Novy Svet / O Paradis / Totenlieder - Drinking to Better Days (Punch Records)
A great experimental neo-folk compilation that brings together some of the most (and few) lively and interesting bands in this field. Each of the four participating projects contributed two tracks to this 12" EP. The luxurious hand-made sleeve is covered in blue velvet on the outside and satin on the inside, and this release is limited to 410 hand-numbered copies.
(12" EP, out of stock)

Erik Ursich - Kanashii - Il Piacere Della Tristezza (Punch Records)
A debut release that is sure to please those into cold minimal electronics with a melancholic touch. The LP relies heavily on vintage synthesizers, giving the whole thing a certain retro 70's synth record quality.
(Grey 12", hand-numbered and limited to 300 copies, $22.00, last copy)

Söldnergeist - You Want Him / Hyper Climax (Self Abuse)
"You Want Him": heavy electronics with pulsating bass and distorted vocals. "Hyper Climax": a crescendo of noise and strained drones.
(7", $10.00)

Iugula Thor / Sshe Retina Stimulants - Performance Ranges (Self Abuse)
The Sshe Retina Stimulants side is a great piece of buzzing noise with spastic synth sounds trying to fight their way through it. Iugula Thor's track is along the lines of his contribution to "The Sounds of Sadism" compilation, and comes off as an a cappella power electronics routine.
(Grey-marbled 7", $10.00)
