Genetic Transmission - Ascetic (Beast of Prey)
New album from this absurdly overlooked Polish industrial pioneer, whose previous work includes many self-releases on Die Schöne Blumen Musik Werk and activities in projects such as ?adne Kwiatki, Godzilla and Hated Bruit Kollectiv. "Ascetic" is just as abstract and demanding as one would expect, with its brittle electro-acoustic textures slithering and scraping through three 20-min tracks. An acquired taste for some, but those interested in Niellerade Fallibilisthorstar and modern futurism shouldn't ignore this one.
