Aeoga - COAV (Aural Hypnox)
Label info: "The debut album of Aeoga presents very original and haunting material based on spiraling dark drones, eerie guitar feedback textures, archaic drum and cymbal patterns, atonal / tonal vocalizations and distant / peculiar sample layers."

Aeoga - Zenith Beyond The Helix-Locus (Aural Hypnox)
Aeoga's 2nd album, providing you with a new collection of elemental ambient, aural hallucinations and luminous currents. Sometimes overwhelming by its sheer amount of flowing amorphous energy, but always of the caliber now associated with Aural Hypnox's productions.

Aere Aeternus - Humanity Needs No Funeral (Kaosthetik Konspiration)
Label info: "'Humanity Needs No Funeral', the first full-length album from AERE AETERNUS, was released on the French label Kaosthetik. With a multi-national and eclectic lineup, the band comprises Alex (MACABRE OMEN, THE ONE, RAZOR OF OCCAM), Claudio Alcara (FROSTMOON ECLIPSE, STROSZEK), Cyr (DARK SANCTUARY, ELKTRONIK SCIETY) and Radu. [...]
The dominant atmosphere combines a sense of impending insanity with sexual deviancy and a large dollop of occultism, creating a dark and troubling misanthropic sojourn that is relatively unique. [...] The accompanying video of 'Invocation' shows a Satanic ritual in all its kitschy glory."

Amon - Nona (Weird Amplexus)
One 21-min track from Amon, the cinematic dark ambient project headed by Andrea Marutti, of Afe Records fame. As always the occult Egyptian themes aren't too far away, as this EP is inspired by the Rosemary case of the early 1930's. During those seances, a British woman allegedly spoke in ancient Egyptian and claimed to be "Nona", or "The One Without a Name", the consort of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III (ancient spirits just love these multiple nicknames). Going back to the music, this track could be thought of as an appropriate soundtrack to those candle-lit seances of yore where every kick in the table was obviously a sign of otherworldly communication.

Anthesteria - Phobos 1953 (Zhelezobeton)
Label info: "The name of Anthesteria is already well-known to the connoisseurs of Russian post-industrial music. This project has released two solo CDs, a collaboration work with Stalnoy Pakt, and a number of tracks on various compilations. After this the project's leader George Beloglazov founded his own multimedia studio Phantomery Interactive and focused his attention on creating computer games with an unconventional author approach.
After releasing the appreciated game "Sublustrum" ("Outcry") filled with the spirit of decadence, steampunk and somber surrealism, spring 2010 saw the release of a new psychological quest - "Phobos 1953". The action takes place in March 1953 in an abandoned Soviet bunker - a place of strange experiments on the human psyche. The game explores such themes as the limits of mental possibilities, the electronic voice phenomenon, experiments with thought-transference and impact of fear on the human organism.
The game soundtrack, presented on this CD, embodies the project's concept in sound. Imbued with an industrial atmosphere, leisurely soundscapes turn into states of calm estrangement and isolationism. Excursions into the unknown corners of the consciousness bring to its surface old memories and long forgotten yet vaguely familiar images... and laboratorial claustrophobia grows into light melancholia. This musical picture is performed in the trademark style of Anthesteria combining abstract dark ambient, melodic neoclassical and experimental sonic artifacts."

Arktau Eos - Mirrorion (Aural Hypnox)
Label info: "Presented in seventeen chapters that can be approached as singular gateways or a slowly unfolding journey of epic proportions, the debut album of ARKTAU EOS is a challenging, complex work. Born of intense private musico-magical sessions held in places abandoned by man and further refined in the temple-laboratory of the duo, it is the distillation of seven arduous months of work. [...]
For this recording ARKTAU EOS have favoured an organic approach with majority of instrumentation being of acoustic variety, including the unearthly choral of the kanglings, piercings blasts of windbones, accelerating steel-plate rolls, singing bowl and various kinds of stringed instruments."

Asmorod - Hysope (Steinklang)
Label info: "Steinklang is proud to announce the imminent release of the 4th Asmorod CD : Hysope; a fascinating introspective deep ambient work that distinguished itself from the mass of uniform dark ambient releases. Niiko (now the only member of Asmorod) used the word Hysope (French word for Hyssop) as a symbolism of spiritual purification. In ancient times, Hyssop was used for the cleansing of lepers and used for cleaning sacred places. Two tracks from this album feature choirs by eLL from Sui Generis Umbra."

Aural Holograms - Vol. I (Aural Hypnox)
Label info: "The very first part of the Aural Holograms series incorporates various call and response patterns manifesting vibrating, subtle energies, all of which have been accurately divided into separate rhythmic dimensions and time-shifting aural tapestries.
The overall experience - i.e. the ecstatic effect - is transmitted by the intensity of syncopated rhythms, reed organ lingering on a few tones, self-transforming vocal work accompanied with carefully chosen oscillating tunes and a variety of percussive patterns utilising artefacts crafted according to the methods of traditional metallurgia, as well as real-time tape operations."

Bardoseneticcube - Deadhead (Steinklang)
One of the great aspects of each new Bardoseneticcube album is that you never know what to expect in terms of style. Known mostly for its experimental ambient recordings, the project has embraced styles as diverse as electro-dub, dark ambient and of course the collaboration with saxophonist Igor V. Petrov which we released (of which a different version of one track appears here). "Deadhead" is another great surprise from Bardoseneticcube and sees the project putting together monumental electronic tracks with neo-classical and martial industrial touches. Pick it up.
