Nazi Bastards From Aldebaran - Invasion (Zhelezobeton)
Achtung! This is a collection of all the tracks recorded by this mysterious band from the late 90's Russian scene. The music is old-school electro-industrial with pumping bass lines, arpeggiated melodic loops and clanging beats, all mixed up with some samples to spice up the affair. With completely over the top titles such as "Swastika Man", "Illuminati" and "Nazi UFO Attacks Paris Nightclub", this is sure to be a hit with all the DJs in Neuschwabenland.
(CD-R, pro-printed color sleeve, $9.00)

O Paradis - Pequeñas Canciones De Amor (Tourette)
New 2008 release from our favorite Catalonian troubadour, with a somewhat more light-hearted and poppy spirit than "Cuando El Tiempo Sopla". Pure Mediterranean sunshine. Also features a cover of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me, Babe".
(CD, digipak, $13.00, last copy)

Opium - Sympathetic Flying Objects (Silentes)
Opium is active in the ambient field with various projects and collaborations with Alio Die, Francesco Paladino and Antonio Testa, and Silentes presents here his debut release under this moniker. The six tracks of this album rely mostly on soothing synth washes enriched with discreet field recordings and various noises, occasionally layering some rhythmical elements into the background. While there's inevitably some level of déjà-vu, the overall quality of the recording warrants it attention from ambient listeners.

Panicsville - Evil? (Nihilist)
Panicsville's 4th album and the most rhythm-oriented one so far, with plenty of Casio rhythms and arpeggiated synth
lines to shake a SK-1 at. Toss in a copious amount of found sounds and effects, some swirling feedback noise and a couple of creepy lullabies and you're almost there. Includes an amusingly jarring cover of "Video Killed the Radio Star".The CD comes with a booklet between two wood panels held together by binder clips.
(CD, hand-made packaging, $12.00)

Spark - The Robotic Girl Next Door (n5md)
Cute little release with crisp 8-bit melodies and bit-quantized drum patterns. Arguably not the most original recipe out there, but nicely done with enough hooks to keep you tuned in.
(CD, digipak, $12.00, last copy)

Tabor Radosti - Lamat (Epidemie)
Czech ritualistic ambient with electronic rhythms and processed vocals that somehow sound like the alien language spoken by the Pharaonic gods in Stargate. Includes three bonus remixes, one of which is by Schloss Tegal. Brings to mind some of the more rhythmical Reutoff tracks at times.
(CD, six-panel digipak, $13.00, last copy)

Telepherique - Zivilisatose (Diophantine Discs)
Final release from this long-active and highly prolific German trio, marking 20 years of activity with material released on such labels as Ant-Zen, Noise Museum and SSSM among others.
"Zivilisatose" covers a number of the genres explored by Telepherique over the years, swerving from noisy constructed rhythms to more minimal crystalline electro tones with bizarre samples that bring to mind some of their more recent collaborations releases with Contagious Orgasm.
(CD, silk-screened wallet packaging, $11.00, last copy)
