CD-R re-release of the tape with an extra track. Altar of Flies is Mattias Gustafsson from Sweden, and this project is one of those great surprises you run into and feel like sharing with whoever is actually reading this. This is tense, sputtering electronic sludge with industrial overtones done right, crafted into an organic beast with a life of its own. Limited to 50 copies, and we've only got two to spare.

Grim - The Past Is Still In Current Use (Drag & Drop Industrial)
Grim is the project led by Jun Konagaya, co-founder of the early cult industrial duo White Hospital with Tomo Kuwahara, who went on to form the ritual ambient project Vasilisk. This compilation conveniently assembles all past Grim releases (Amaterasu 7", Folk Music LP and Message mLP) along with a track released as Howling of Himalaya on UPD's "Constructive Music 1990". The first two releases are great examples of early 80's industrial, with the perfect dosage of metal percussions, squalid electronics and shouted vocals. The "Message" mLP material takes a drastically different turn for eerie and clinically altered folk music. Required listening.

A collection of 9 minimalistic audio exercises achieved using exclusively the sounds of various pieces of discarded metal junk (barrels, springs, chains, steel plates, etc...). The crystalline recording quality strongly emphasizes the timber and tone of each sound source, bringing to mind some of the more subdued A.B.G.S. material.

Peenemünde - Peenemünde (Obscurex)
Named after the army research facility where the V-2 rocket was born under the supervision of Wernher Von Braun, Peenemünde is a grimy industrial noise collaboration between Pentti Dassum & Pekka PT (Sick Seed and Gelsomina). Crumbling steel, metallic howls and incinerator blasts that will soothe Linija Mass and Vetrophonia devotees.
