Arc - The Circle is Not Round (A Silent Place)
Debut CD release from Arc, the trio of Aidan Baker (guitars, flutes, tape loops), Richard Baker (drum kit, percussion) and Christopher Kukiel (percussion). This results in a combination of the more melodic Aidan Baker pieces with layers of varied percussive instruments, giving the sound a rhythmical and live quality that works consistently with the ambient drones. Pleasant and soothing stuff.

An audio exploration of the Nostromo, the imposing spaceship of Ridley Scott's "Alien". Minimal black ambient with technological overtones. This re-release has the original four tracks along with with a new piece named after the Narcissus, the escape shuttle in which the finale takes place.
